Maps in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
There are many maps in the casual and competitive game play. We explored all of them. Here is the glimpse of every map.
This is one of the favorite maps in the game. It features the scenario of bomb plant. Therefore, it has 2 bomb sites naming- A and B. It is based on a desert area where nuclear blocks are stored. The T group tries to blow the stored crates.
2. Dust II
Dust II is the remake of the former map ‘Dust’. It also has a ‘bomb scenario’ with 2 bomb sites. Also features a desert scene and hence, a tricky map when studied closer.
This map is based upon the concept of a city. It features apartments and 2 bomb sites. This one is also based on the ‘bomb scenario. Hence, Bringing an awesome map to the community.
It is a beautiful map with again ‘bomb scenario’. What makes it difficult is that its bombsites’ alignment. In the recent update, Valve has made it easier by introducing different bomb sounds at the sites. Otherwise, it was difficult to distinguish where the bomb was planted.
Cache is a map defined to bring the urban experience in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It has a variety of tricks to play with it. We can define many strategies in this map due to its architecture. Therefore, an awesome map for community.
Overpass is a favorite for high-ranked players. It provides easy rotation for the CT group in order to reach from site A to B or vice-versa. Since, in starting it’s a quite difficult to master it but it’s a very good map once you get familiar with.
This map is based on a historical-built place. Having 2 bombsites, it is quite a tough map for new players. Scenario is beautiful as the T group tries to blow the historical statue in order to win the round. Therefore, an awesome map for the professionals.
An awesome map to play with. This map features a Hangar scenario. In which the T group tries to blow up the series of a nuke-filled coach. Hence, providing 2 bombsites and an easy rotation it’s a very challenging map.
A newly introduced map in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community. It features the scenario of a zoo with 2 bombsites and provides a beautiful map to play with.
This map features a vintage theme which is little related to Texas city but overall it’s a good map. Players liked this new map and this map is expected to be in active duty pool maps. Hence, we may have this in tournaments in near future.
It is a map with the scenario of an agency on a very high building. you are tasked to rescue hostages from the top of this building. You can fall off anytime. Watch your step!!.
This is a historical map because it has been in every series of Counter-Strike family. Therefore, it ensures a player gets close combats more than the ranged ones. This is not in active duty map pool.
Yet another map of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This features a facility where the plants are treated and the T group is there with a ‘bomb scenario’. Features 2 bombsites and is a good map to play with.
Note:- All the bomb scenarios excluding Biome are included in the active duty map pool. Which means, they all will be played in the tournaments by the respective teams.
